Lake Oroville runs all the way from Oroville Dam, located in Oroville, to Limesaddle Marina, located in Paradise. In other words, its a HUGE lake! Oroville Dam is one of the largest earth-filled dams in the world and was built in the 1960s. Before then there was a wooded area with a few homes and the Feather River running through it.

The water in the lake is just heavenly. It is a warm-water reservoir, so its great for swimming and water-skiing.
